Resin
Material Properties:
- UV resin or synthetic resin.
- It works byusing laser/light radiation (UV), which hardens the liquid resin in layers.
- The most precise printing method, known for its details and smooth surface.
- Suitable for use on SLA, DLP and LCD printers.
Technical Parameters:
- Hardness: 40-45 A (according to Shore test)
- Viscosity: 550-750 mPa.s
- Density: 1.05-1.25 g/cmᶟ
- Volume: 0.5 L
- Bending strength: +/- 0.66 MPa
- Tensile strength: +/- 0.59 MPa
- Curing wavelength: 405 nm
Printing parameters recommended by the manufacturer (per layer 0.05 mm):
- First layers: 20-70 s
- Other layers: 4-20 s
+ Can be stretched up to 200% of original length.
+ Suitable for printing flexible rubber items, various seals, and RC model tires.
+ Tear resistant.
+ Wear resistant.
+ Quickly returns to its original shape after deformation.
+ Rigid (cannot be shaped after printing).
- Risk of allergic reaction or adverse health problems. We recommend working with a respirator and rubber gloves, preferably in a well-ventilated room.
- Challenging to print and find the right values.
- Before starting printing (preferably 30 mins), shake and then let it stand to eliminate bubbles.
- After printing, it needs to be washed (e.g., in isopropyl alcohol) and cured under UV light with a wavelength of 405 nm.
