- Residues of the product on the surface can be removed with clean water
Four zones of product action
Dimafix protects against undesired detachment of the model from the print bed, even with the most demanding filaments. The adhesive properties of the product change depending on the temperature. Using ABS thermoplastic as an example, we can distinguish four operating temperature ranges for Dimafix:
- Zone IV - temperature from 95 °C to 120 °C Maximum adhesion of the printed element, of any size and shape. This range improves the print quality of sharp edges and peaks of the 3D model.
- Zone III - temperature from 75 °C to 95 °C Zone with high print adhesion. The 3D model can be of any shape and a maximum size of 200 x 200 mm. Good print quality without warping, even with print cooling enabled.
- Zone II - temperature from 65 °C to 75 °C Medium adhesion suitable for flat objects without sharp edges.
- Zone I - temperature below 65 ° C Ensures easy removal of the print from the bed. If the bed cools down, the print should fall off by itself.
