Information
Geared feed wheels made of hardened steel are an internal part of the extruder unit. They include a driven gear and an active gear that work together to feed the filament into the hotend.
The hardened steel extruder is made of durable materials and has better printing ability with durable technical filaments such as PAHT-CF and PET-CF for long-lasting performance. If abrasion or clogging occurs due to long-term use , users can only replace the extruder gear assembly instead of the entire extruder unit.
* The P1 Series Extruder comes standard with a stainless steel extruder. Users can upgrade to a hardened steel extruder for better abrasion resistance against engineering filaments.
