Compact direct drive extruder for demanding users.
First used on BIQU BX printers in version 1.0
Version 2.0 has a modified design (e.g., simpler heatbreak replacement without disassembling the entire direct drive). The gears are made of stainless steel (1.0 had steel with surface treatment). The heatbreak is made of titanium and copper alloys (1.0 had stainless steel and a PTFE tube). In-house manufactured heatblock (1.0 had a Phateus heatblock)
This extruder weighs only 211 grams, and its main advantage is the so-called dual drive system of gears, which ensures a smooth and firm flow of filament to the nozzle. Additionally, thanks to the internal 7:1 gear ratio, it can push filament with a torque of up to 770mN.m.
Unique cooling
The H2 extruder's cooler structure is optimized so that airflow is directed away from the nozzle, thus supporting its heat dissipation.
Versatility
It supports common materials like PLA and PETG, as well as more flexible types such as TPE, TPU, and similar, including more demanding filaments like nylon.
Flexibility
The extruder includes several mounting points, making it easier to attach the entire print head to any printer supported by the manufacturer, community, or, in the case of a DIY enthusiast, a custom mount.
