Information
Lubricating grease is used to lubricate lead screws or to eliminate noise problems between belts and idler pulleys.
Lubricating oil is usually used to lubricate linear guides, slide rails, and steel shafts.
Important to know
Lubricating grease and lubricating oil CANNOT be used on the X-axis carbon rods of the X1 and P1 series.
Theoretically, lubricating oil can also be used to lubricate the lead screw, but because lubricating oil is prone to evaporation, it would require more frequent reapplication of the lubricant.
