Hyper Speed PLA is the successor to the popular HyperPLA. It is now even faster. From a maximum speed of 350 mm/s, it is now 750 mm/s. The spool is also now 1 kg instead of 0.75 kg. And to top it all off, it is cheaper than its 0.75 kg predecessor. Faster, larger quantity, and cheaper.

!!! New stock may still have the old name HyperPLA on the label, but it is the new Hyper Speed PLA. In the description on the spool, you can find information about the speed of 750 mm/s. The reason is that the manufacturer decided to rename the new series only after the first batch was produced.

3DPower PLA - high-quality filament suitable for both beginners and experienced 3D printing users.

3DPower Hyper Speed PLA is the successor to HyperPLA. This filament is ideal for fast printing (up to 750 mm/s). Hyper PLA offers improved mechanical and thermal resistance compared to standard PLA. The impact strength of 3DPower Hyper PLA, measured by the Izod method, is almost 1.5 times higher than that of standard ABS. Moreover, after undergoing crystallization, its impact strength exceeds standard ABS by more than double.

Each spool is vacuum-sealed with a desiccant.

Crystallization (annealing) procedure:

(This post-processing is not necessary if the basic properties of PLA are sufficient for you)

  1. Begin by preheating the oven to the annealing temperature range of 80 °C to 110 °C.
  2. Place the printed part in the oven and start the timer. A typical annealing time for parts with a wall thickness of approximately 3 mm is 20 minutes, although the duration may vary depending on wall thickness.
  3. When handling larger parts, it is common practice to use support fixtures, such as aluminum objects, during the annealing process.
  4. After removing the part from the oven, allow it to cool naturally in the ambient environment. Minimize handling, as the interior of the component may remain at elevated temperatures longer than the outer surface.
  5. If using a water bath for annealing, keep in mind that the component may need to remain at the desired temperature for a slightly longer period to ensure proper crystallization.

Why 3DPower Basic PLA Filaments?
