3DPower ASA – Resistant In All Conditions!
3DPower ASA filament is characterized by its resistance to UV radiation. Thanks to its high mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures (up to approx. 90 °C), 3DPower ASA is an unrivaled material for printing parts that are constantly exposed to weather conditions.
In addition to the aforementioned weather resistance, 3DPower ASA filament is characterized by low shrinkage compared to ABS. The durability of prints made from 3DPower ASA filament is similar to that of those printed from ABS, but the printing process itself is simpler. Furthermore, 3DPower ASA does not require an enclosed chamber when creating small to medium-sized prints.
Parts made from 3DPower ASA filament are easy to machine, can be sanded, painted, and drilled.
Filaments can be used for most 3D printers working with FDM technology. 3DPower ASA is an excellent material for printing parts exposed to various outdoor conditions, which is important for using this filament in the production of mechanical structures and even everyday items for field use.
Why choose 3DPower ASA?
- UV resistance
- Long lifespan
- Higher Chemical Resistance Than ABS
- high inter-layer adhesion
- high mechanical strength
- relatively low shrinkage during processing
- weather resistance
- easy machining
